Treatment Methods
The two pillars of treatment in psychosomatic medicine and psychiatry are psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy. There are several methods for each, which can be combined to find the best treatment. At our clinic, we strive to carefully consider and decide with each patient what combination of treatments is best for them.

Pharmacotherapy
Depending on the symptoms, we will prescribe therapeutic medicines such as antidepressants and anti-anxiety agents to alleviate or improve the symptoms.
Some medical institutions may use Oriental medicine methods such as Chinese herbal medicine.

Psychotherapy (Psychological therapy)
This is a treatment that resolves psychological problems through consultations and conversations with a counselor. Counseling is a well-known method. There is also group psychotherapy.

Lifestyle guidance
We will give advice on how to adjust your lifestyle, such as going to bed and waking up at a certain time, and taking your medicine in the specified amount.
We provide guidance during regular medical consultations and as part of a day care program as described below.

Day care
In addition to regular clinic visits just like going to work, we use sheets to write down schedules, etc., to maintain a consistent lifestyle rhythm and support their return to and participation in society.
It may be easier to understand if you think of it as a more advanced form of lifestyle guidance.

Rework program
This is a treatment program for people who want to return to work after taking a leave of absence. In addition to managing daily life rhythms like in day care, cognitive behavioral group therapy and social skills training are used to learn how to deal with stress and to perform tasks that simulate work content. These will support a smooth return to work.
